We’re seeking a detail-oriented Specifications Writer to join our remote team. You’ll develop project specifications and provide technical guidance to architecture teams throughout design and construction phases.
What you’ll do:
Write and maintain technical specifications for large-scale, complex projects covering both interiors and exteriors. Coordinate with product representatives and manufacturers to research systems and materials. Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams in different locations. Support construction administration by responding to requests and reviewing documentation.
Skills/background needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school. Minimum 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in specifications development. Strong knowledge of construction detailing, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences projects preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, team chat software, and document management tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across virtual teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
