We’re seeking a Technical Content Writer to create clear, user-focused documentation for software products. You’ll work fully remote, collaborating with product teams to translate complex features into guides, reference materials, and tutorials that help users understand and use new tools effectively.
What you’ll do:
Write and publish feature guides, administration documentation, and use-case scenarios for software releases. Update release notes and address user feedback to close content gaps. Use AI writing assistants and language models to speed up research and writing. Develop simple automation tools to handle repetitive documentation tasks. Analyse user questions and knowledge gaps to improve content quality. Help modernise the documentation process using basic scripting and automation.
Skills/background needed:
Interest in AI tools and their practical applications. Experience in software development environments (or willingness to learn). Ability to break down technical information into clear, user-friendly language. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python. Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing. Experience using AI to assist with writing is a plus, but not essential. A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Contract length: Full time
