We’re looking for a passionate sports writer to join our team and publish stories under your own byline. This is a part-time remote role perfect for students or hobbyists who want real writing experience, flexible around your schedule.
Responsibilities:
Break news and write timely stories on sports topics of your choice. Write features, recaps, previews, and analysis pieces. Conduct interviews with players and other newsmakers. Contribute to team content such as predictions and roundups. Work with an editor to revise and polish your work.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part time, flexible hours (1–10 hours per week)
Skills/background needed: Currently enrolled in college (any major) or interested in sports writing. No professional experience required. Strong writing skills, interest in sports topics, and comfort contacting people for interviews. Reliable with deadlines.
