What you’ll do:
– Find story leads: comeback stories, record-breaking games, underdog teams, and standout coaches
– Identify top athletes across various levels of football and basketball
– Research statistics, highlights, and publicly available information from online sources
– Submit weekly reports with story leads and athlete profiles
– Suggest ratings and explanations for each athlete you discover
– Flag trending teams and matchups worth covering
What you’ll need:
– Strong interest in football and basketball at various competitive levels
– Good online research skills and attention to detail
– Clear written English
– Reliable and able to meet weekly deadlines
– Bonus: writing experience, video analysis skills, or social media knowledge
Contract length: Ongoing, flexible
Hours: 2–5 per week, fully flexible schedule
