Social Media & Marketing Strategist – Remote Entry Level

About the Role

You’ll support clients with their multi-channel marketing campaigns while developing expertise in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, and direct response strategy. Your work will span campaign planning, client onboarding, performance analysis, and team collaboration. You’ll help clients maximize their return on investment through clear communication, strategic guidance, and optimization best practices.

What Your Success Will Look Like

• Lead strategy and optimization of multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, direct mail), including audience segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis for clients

• Partner with internal creative and technical teams to guide campaign messaging, targeting, and overall structure

• Define and maintain campaign standards around deliverability, compliance, and design guidelines

• Track and analyze campaign performance metrics and provide clear reporting and insights to leadership

• Identify opportunities through data analysis, research, and competitor benchmarking to enhance campaign effectiveness and client experience

• Review and refine campaign content through editing, proofreading, and occasional copywriting to ensure accuracy and message alignment

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for team members to help build overall team skills and operational excellence

• Troubleshoot complex lifecycle marketing challenges involving segmentation, deliverability, workflows, and campaign logic

• Build and maintain marketing automation campaigns and develop expertise in marketing automation platforms

Who You Are And What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Experience: 4+ years of experience in direct or lifecycle marketing, with proven ability to build and maintain multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, direct mail) and contribute to strategy, messaging, testing, and optimization

Skills:

• Strong proficiency with marketing automation platforms, with the ability to learn new features and guide others through best practices

• Data-driven mindset with experience using performance metrics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong writing and editing capabilities

• Client-focused approach with proactive engagement, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs

• Ability to work independently, make informed recommendations, and support teammates

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
