Social Media & Marketing Associate – Entry Level

As a Social Media & Marketing Associate, you will use creative and organizational skills to bring marketing campaigns to life. You’ll be part of a team that conceptualizes, plans, and implements marketing initiatives across multiple channels. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies, managing social media content, coordinating with team members, managing project timelines and budgets, and supporting client campaigns from concept to execution.

What You’ll Do:

Research and create marketing strategies and implementation plans for client campaigns. Coordinate meetings and collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other team members to create integrated marketing content. Develop and manage content calendars and scheduling deadlines. Support budget tracking and reporting. Manage project documentation and client submissions. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to implement effective marketing campaigns. Communicate clearly through emails, proposals, briefs, and other written formats. Build strong working relationships with teammates, clients, and external partners. Design and implement social media campaigns for multiple clients, including organic posting and community monitoring. Perform additional tasks as needed.

Skills/background needed:

Recent internships or entry-level work experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree required. Knowledge of marketing fundamentals including digital marketing, advertising, and creative development. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, friendly, dependable, and proactive. Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with project management tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar). Familiarity with AI writing tools. Experience with social media management and scheduling tools. Ability to create presentations using Canva and/or PowerPoint. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15-20% of the time) as needed for client work.
