Social Media Manager – Remote Entry Level

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own and develop our organization’s social media presence across all platforms. You’ll work within our Marketing and Communications team, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with colleagues across multiple departments.

This is a fully remote role where you’ll manage our corporate social channels, develop platform-specific strategies, publish content, monitor engagement, and report on performance. You’ll work alongside internal stakeholders to maintain a unified content calendar and help amplify our brand voice across social channels.

What you’ll do

Enterprise social media management

• Lead social media planning, publishing, and day-to-day management across our corporate social channels
• Define channel-specific strategies including platform mix, content approach, and audience targeting that reflect our brand voice
• Monitor engagement and social conversations, manage community interactions, and identify any risks for escalation
• Partner with internal teams to source, adapt, and amplify content across channels
• Manage a busy daily social calendar while building longer-term programs in parallel
• Use social media management, listening, and analytics tools to track performance
• Work comfortably across different departments and organizational levels

Integrated content planning

• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to maintain a unified organizational content calendar
• Ensure social content is coordinated with major company announcements and communications priorities
• Serve as a connecting point across departments on shared content priorities and timing
• Support cross-functional planning and keep stakeholders informed of upcoming content

Cross-functional collaboration

• Act as a connector between Communications, Marketing, and other departments on content planning and social strategy
• Bring strategic thinking to how social content supports our brand reputation while staying hands-on with execution

Skills and background needed

• 4–7+ years managing social media accounts for organizations or enterprises, with strong experience on LinkedIn and other major platforms
• Strong writing and editing skills — ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging copy for different audiences
• Experience managing or contributing to a cross-functional content calendar alongside communications teams
• Familiarity with regulated industries and content accuracy expectations, or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency with social media management, listening, and analytics tools
• Ability to work across departments and communicate with people at all organizational levels

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical communications
• Experience working within corporate or external communications functions
• Experience with thought leadership or expert-led content
• Familiarity with investor relations or public affairs content
• Video or multimedia content experience including short-form video
