This is a fully remote, entry-level role perfect for someone eager to build social media strategy and content from the ground up.
The Role
You’ll own social media strategy end-to-end: setting the direction, building channels, and leading growth. For the first phase, you’ll be hands-on—writing, filming, posting, and engaging directly with audiences. As channels prove successful, you’ll build the team out from there. This is a “maker” role first and foremost; if you prefer pure management over creation, this may not be the right fit.
What You’ll Do
• Develop channel strategy across platforms like LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Reddit—deciding what to focus on, what to skip, and how each channel supports business goals
• Build and grow YouTube from scratch, including format selection, posting schedule, and production approach
• Create authentic, credible content on Reddit and similar community platforms where your audience naturally gathers
• Build organic visibility using modern tools and techniques, including AI-assisted content production
• Measure and report on what’s working—tracking reach, engagement, and business results
• Use AI tooling strategically to create content at scale without sacrificing quality
Skills/Background Needed
• 5+ years of hands-on social media experience with proven results—channels you’ve grown, metrics you can speak to
• Hands-on Reddit and YouTube experience—you’ve built or significantly grown channels on these platforms
• Comfort with AI content tools and clear thinking about where to automate and where to maintain quality
• Excellent written English with a clear, authentic voice—ability to write B2B content that sounds human, not corporate
• Willingness to work in ambiguity and build strategy without a fixed playbook
• Recent hands-on content creation experience as an individual contributor
Nice to Have
• Background in ecommerce or SaaS industries
• Comfort on camera or experience directing others for video content
• Experience collaborating across distributed, remote teams
