Social Media & Content Specialist – Part Time Remote

Roles: Social Media Coordinator, Content Editor, Community Engagement Support

About the role: This is a hands-on, entry-level position perfect for someone who loves social media and wants to build real experience in content creation and management. You’ll work directly with the team to support multiple client accounts, taking content from initial ideas through to publishing. You’ll handle everything from video editing to graphic design to community engagement — this is a great way to develop a diverse skill set in social media.

What you’ll do:

• Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms• Create on-brand graphics, carousels, flyers, and social media assets using Canva• Schedule and publish content across multiple client social platforms• Write and prepare captions and content descriptions• Engage with client audiences through comments, likes, and community interaction• Help organize and maintain weekly content calendars• Set up and organize client feeds for upcoming weeks• Make content revisions and adjustments based on feedback• Attend team and client meetings• Support weekly client deliverables and meet deadlines• Work independently and with the team to keep client accounts running smoothly• Maintain consistency with each client’s branding, voice, and visual style

Skills/background needed:

• Strong interest in social media and current trends (especially Instagram and TikTok)• Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools• Comfortable with short-form video editing — experience with CapCut or similar software is a plus• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines• Reliable, responsive, and communicative• Able to take direction and also work independently• Detail-oriented and able to adapt to different brand styles• Familiarity with content scheduling platforms is helpful but not required• Full training provided — no prior professional experience necessary
