About the Role
We’re looking for a creative content creator to help build and manage social media presence for a growing wellness brand. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work from approved creative briefs to produce short-form videos, graphics, and stories that connect with audiences across multiple platforms. You’ll be working closely with the creative lead and founder to bring their vision to life through polished, engaging content.
What You’ll Do
• Video Editing: Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using raw footage and provided materials—focus on pacing, text placement, audio levels, and visual flow.
• Graphic Design: Create polished carousel posts and static graphics using Canva and Adobe tools, following established brand guidelines.
• Story Creation: Assemble 3–5 Instagram Stories sets weekly using video clips, interactive stickers, polls, and graphics.
• Platform Scheduling: Schedule and post approved content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, ensuring everything goes live on time and without errors.
• Content Organization: Help build and maintain a cloud-based system to organize raw footage and finished content so everything stays easy to find and access.
• Team Communication: Stay in touch with the founder and team through team chat apps to discuss briefs, ask questions, and share updates.
What You’ll Produce Monthly
• Approximately 16–20 short-form video edits (3–4 per week) for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• 4–8 multi-slide carousel designs (1–2 per week)
• 12–20 Instagram Stories sets
• Cross-platform posting across 5 days per week
• Basic monthly performance reporting on top-performing content
Who You Are
• You’re skilled in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro, with a strong eye for pacing, text timing, audio levels, and visual flow.
• You have a polished, elevated design sense—you understand layout, typography, color harmony, and when to use restraint for a premium look.
• You’re passionate about social media. You follow trends on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, both for personal enjoyment and professional inspiration. You naturally understand what resonates with audiences right now.
• You’re an independent, reliable executor. You take a brief, deliver on deadline, and manage your own workflow without needing constant check-ins.
• You’re resourceful and adaptable. The brand is still building its content library, so you’ll help create raw materials and assets, not just edit from an existing archive.
• You’re comfortable with modern workflow tools: Canva, Google Drive, Notion or similar project management tools, and social scheduling platforms.
• Bonus: You’re comfortable shooting simple footage yourself (b-roll, product shots, lifestyle clips) if needed, though this is not required.
Requirements
• You operate as a freelancer or registered business entity (such as an LLC or Sole Proprietorship).
• You have a portfolio or live examples of short-form video edits and carousel designs you’ve created, with notes on your specific role in each piece.
Location: Open to applicants worldwide
Skills/background needed: Video editing software proficiency, graphic design fundamentals, social media platform knowledge, reliable time management, independent work style
