We’re looking for a proposal writer to craft compelling pitches and presentation decks for new business opportunities. You’ll take brief outlines and transform them into polished, persuasive proposals that tell a story and win opportunities.
What you’ll do:
Receive pitch briefs and distil them into bespoke, exciting proposals. Condense strategic objectives into clear, compelling messaging. Own both the copywriting and slide design for fully developed proposals. Match tone of voice to audience and maintain consistent style throughout. Proofread, edit, and implement feedback through to final delivery. Build and maintain reusable templates and asset libraries. Manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines while communicating with internal teams.
Skills and background needed:
Proven experience writing persuasive proposals or copy (copywriting, advertising, marketing, or agency experience all transfer well). Proficiency in Google Slides to create and design proposals. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and stay organised while juggling multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable learning quickly. No prior experience in this specific industry required—we provide full guidance on our approach and tone.
Contract length: Ongoing freelance
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week, flexible scheduling
