Roles: Writing and updating news scripts, preparing short on-air teasers, editing audio, and helping put together regular news segments.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part time, with a varied schedule that may include overnights and weekends.
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required and full training provided. You should have clear written and verbal communication, a careful eye for detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Comfort with basic audio editing is helpful but not essential, and a proactive, creative attitude matters more than a long resume.
You will research stories from a range of sources, keep up with breaking news, and work with colleagues on daily and longer-term coverage plans. You will also help share stories across digital and social channels. This is a fully remote role, so you can work from home or from anywhere that suits you.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
