We are seeking a Part-Time Multimedia Journalist to join our newsroom. You will research, write, and present news stories across multiple formats—articles, photos, videos, and social media. No prior experience required; full training provided.
Key responsibilities:
Write clear, accurate news articles following standard journalistic practices. Conduct interviews and verify information to ensure accuracy. Capture photos and video content relevant to stories. Edit video footage for digital platforms. Manage and create engaging social media posts. Proofread and edit articles for clarity before publication. Collaborate with editors and team members to develop story ideas and meet deadlines.
Skills and background needed:
Strong written communication skills. Comfort working with basic photography, video, and editing tools. Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok is helpful but not required. Ability to research thoroughly and fact-check information. Capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines. Bilingual abilities are a bonus.
