We’re hiring a news writer to create scripts and content for news broadcasts, breaking news coverage, and special events. This is a fully remote role perfect for someone passionate about news and storytelling.
What you’ll do:
Write clear, engaging news scripts for broadcast and digital platforms. Work with producers to develop story ideas. Meet editorial standards and deadlines. Handle breaking news as it develops. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Skills/background needed:
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Strong writing skills and attention to detail. Ability to work quickly under pressure. Interest in current events and news. No prior broadcast experience required—full training provided.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
