We’re hiring a Multimedia Journalist to join our growing news team. This is a full-time, in-person role based in a vibrant local community.
About the role:
As a Multimedia Journalist, you’ll be at the heart of storytelling. You’ll gather news leads, develop story ideas, conduct interviews, and research topics to bring accurate, compelling stories to life. Your responsibilities will include:
Evaluating news leads and tips to shape story direction
Conducting interviews and research to verify facts and gather information
Writing stories in our editorial style and format standards
Shooting video and still photography to support stories
Editing video content for multiple platforms and channels
Working with newscast producers and online teams to prepare stories for broadcast and digital platforms
Meeting daily deadlines across internet, television, and digital channels
Appearing on air for taped interviews or narration when needed
What you’ll need:
No prior journalism experience required—we provide full training to get you started. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. We’re looking for someone curious, reliable, and passionate about storytelling. You should be comfortable learning new skills, meeting deadlines, and working with a supportive team.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application

Work schedule: Regular Monday through Friday shifts
