We are looking for a Medical Writer to join our team and help create clear, accurate scientific documents for publication. Full training is provided, so no prior professional writing experience is required – this is a great entry point for someone with a science background who wants to build a writing career.
Roles: Prepare and support scientific documents for publication, including abstracts, posters, presentations and manuscripts. Read and summarise clinical trial results and study reports, interpret data, research medical journals and databases, and explain complex scientific concepts in a simple, straightforward way. Reference all content from reliable, published material and pay close attention to detail.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, ongoing freelance work.
Skills/background needed: A strong science background and a willingness to learn new disease areas quickly. Comfort using Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage your own workload to deadlines with minimal supervision. Any experience with scientific writing or published papers is a plus, but full training and support are provided.
