As a Medical Writer, you will combine your love of science with your writing skills to develop high-quality training materials for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. This role is ideal for a writer ready to take on a range of medical writing assignments across different therapeutic areas while building your independence and expertise. Full training and guidance will be provided as you grow in this position.
About the role
You will contribute to projects that help teams understand complex medical and scientific information. Working fully remote, you’ll have the opportunity to develop materials that make a real difference in how people engage with medical content.
What you’ll be doing
• Translate scientific and medical information into clear, accurate, and compelling content for your intended audience
• Research primary literature and identify appropriate sources to support medical content
• Accurately cite medical content and maintain strong accuracy throughout your work
• Manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadline pressures
• Demonstrate flexibility and adapt across a broad range of writing assignments
• Follow project guidance and apply feedback to improve your work
• Collaborate effectively with project teams on high-quality deliverables
Skills/background needed
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, language arts, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail
• Some experience in medical writing, technical writing, scientific communications, or related field (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to work with direct guidance while gradually building independence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and document management software
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
