Junior Technical Writer – Remote

Are you interested in using your writing skills to create clear, helpful technical documentation? We’re looking for a technical writer who can work alongside subject matter experts to develop documentation that helps teams and customers understand complex technical topics.

As a technical writer on our team, you will collaborate with specialists and developers to create technical documentation from start to finish. You’ll work on documentation covering a variety of topics and technical processes.

We need someone who can translate complex subjects into clear, accessible guidance material. You’ll use your writing skills to help readers understand how individual concepts connect to bigger ideas. You should be an excellent communicator, comfortable discussing topics with subject matter experts and team leaders. You’ll coordinate with teams on questions, concerns, and deadlines related to your documentation work.

Skills/background needed: Experience with technical writing, Microsoft Word (including styling and formatting), and working with subject matter experts. You should be able to write, review, and edit technical documentation efficiently, communicate professionally with team members, and conduct independent research as needed. Attention to detail is essential. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Nice to have: Experience writing technical training documentation, knowledge of accessibility standards, familiarity with cloud services, or experience with business intelligence tools.

Contract length: Full-time

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Location: Remote, fully work-from-home position. You may occasionally be required to work in person depending on project needs.
