About This Role:
As a Junior Technical Writer, you will support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, user guides, manuals, and other written materials. This is a full-time, entry-level position where you’ll work with experienced teams to develop clear, accurate documentation that helps users understand complex systems and processes.
What You’ll Do:
• Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications• Gather technical information and prepare written content• Maintain documentation libraries and keep materials current• Use word processing and presentation tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint• Work with developers and subject matter experts to produce quality documentation and training materials• Write technical content for various document types• Prepare reports, responses, and briefings for different audiences• Coordinate document layout and design• Contribute to all phases of the documentation lifecycle
Skills/Background Needed:
Required:• High school diploma or Associate’s degree (or equivalent work experience)• Basic understanding of editing concepts• Ability to write clear, technical content• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and similar tools• Strong communication and attention to detailDesired:• Experience preparing user guides or technical manuals• Ability to work with developers and cross-functional teams• Experience coordinating document design and layout
