About This Role
We’re looking for a Report Writer to help build and maintain reporting solutions that support teams across the organization. You’ll work with Finance, HR, and operational leaders to create accurate reports, dashboards, and analytics. This is a fully remote position where you’ll develop your skills in data reporting and business analytics from day one.
What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards within our reporting platform
• Work with different departments to understand what data and reports they need
• Create operational and financial reports to support month-end processes and forecasting
• Build custom reports and calculated fields using reporting tools
• Check report accuracy and solve any data problems that come up
• Analyze financial data and suggest ways to improve reporting
• Help with system updates and report testing
• Document how reports work and keep reporting standards consistent
• Train team members on how to use reporting features
• Work with different teams on system improvements
Skills You’ll Need
• Strong skills with Microsoft Excel
• Experience creating custom reports and calculated fields in reporting platforms
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of financial processes like general ledger and month-end close
• Familiarity with accounting standards and principles
Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3–7+ years of experience working with financial reporting systems
• Experience supporting Financials within enterprise reporting platforms
Nice to Have
• Healthcare industry experience
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and planning tools
• Experience with audit support and compliance
• Familiarity with healthcare finance and reimbursement reporting
• SQL skills
