We are looking for a creative, beginner-friendly Promo Writer and Editor to join our marketing team. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is necessary.
Roles:
Create marketing and sales promotions by helping to plan, write, and edit assigned projects. Maintain a consistent editorial style and brand voice for network presentation and clients under the guidance of senior marketing staff. Keep projects moving to completion and meet deadlines. Complete, mix, version, quality-check, and deliver spots through digital portals. Work cooperatively with co-workers, customers, and vendors in a professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/background needed:
No previous experience required – we provide full training. A degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience is helpful. Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and attention to detail. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Writing, producing, and editing skills are a plus, and we will help you build them. Familiarity with editing software and production techniques is welcome. Highly creative and able to lead a project from start to finish. Able to work effectively under pressure and meet short deadlines.
Contract length:
Flexible remote contract with potential to move into a permanent role.
