We’re looking for a Grant Writer to help research teams secure funding through compelling grant proposals and applications. You’ll work from home, supporting the research effort by identifying funding opportunities, drafting proposals, and preparing reports for funders.
What you’ll do:
Draft persuasive grant proposals aligned with research goals. Research and identify funding opportunities from federal, state, foundation, and corporate sources. Write scientific manuscripts, articles, and progress reports. Compile data from multiple sources for comprehensive analysis. Work with leadership to develop realistic budgets for proposals. Maintain records of grant activities and funder relationships.
What we’re looking for:
A bachelor’s degree in science, English, or a related field. Some exposure to scientific writing or research is helpful but not required. Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write clear, structured, and persuasive proposals. Research skills and accuracy are essential. Full training will be provided.
