Skills/background needed: No grant writing experience required. We provide full training. You’ll need strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Bachelor’s degree preferred but equivalent experience considered. Proficiency with word processing software and basic database management is helpful.

Location: On-site, local position available.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Grant Writer to join our Development team in an on-site role. You’ll help us secure funding by writing compelling grant proposals and reports, researching funding opportunities, and building relationships with funders. This work directly supports our mission to provide quality care and community health services.

Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend attendance for special events.

What You’ll Do:

• Write and assemble grant proposals and reports to help generate funding for our programmes

• Research and identify funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies

• Work with programme directors and leadership to develop funding requests and concept papers

• Coordinate reviews and feedback from internal teams to meet proposal deadlines

• Manage the grants calendar and track submissions

• Collect and organise programme data for funders

• Build and maintain relationships with grant administrators and funders

• Track donor information and support fundraising activities
