We’re looking for a Features Writer to create compelling editorial content across multiple formats. You’ll write news stories, features, interviews, and case studies for diverse audiences, and commission freelance writers and photographers.
What you’ll do:
Write and edit articles in various styles (news, features, interviews, case studies). Find and pitch story ideas. Conduct interviews with experts and community members. Commission and edit freelance writers. Contribute story ideas for social media and newsletters. Research topics and ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
Skills/background needed:
A portfolio of published writing across different formats. Experience interviewing people and pitching story ideas. Ability to write for multiple platforms (print, web, social media). Comfortable with video scripting. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and web research tools. Strong English writing skills. Understanding of basic journalistic principles. Degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred but not essential.
