Role: Writing Tutor
We are looking for a patient, encouraging Writing Tutor to support learners one-to-one and in small groups. This is a beginner-friendly remote role with full training provided, so no prior tutoring experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Lead tutoring sessions with individual students or small groups in a virtual setting. Offer constructive feedback on assignments. Create an engaging, supportive environment that builds student confidence and interest in learning. Follow current policies and guidelines, and take on other related duties as assigned.
Skills/background needed:
High school diploma or equivalent. Some related experience is helpful but not essential. Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar office applications. Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-service mindset. Ability to explain writing concepts clearly and work positively with people of diverse backgrounds and education levels.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with a fluctuating schedule.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
