We are looking for a beginner-friendly Research Writer to find, report, write, and edit stories about science and research. If you enjoy learning new topics and turning complicated ideas into clear, engaging language for the public, this remote role offers full training and a supportive start.
What you’ll do:
Read research papers and identify interesting trends. Write and edit stories for web, print, and social channels. Work with editors to shape content that is accurate and easy to understand. Translate complex science into plain, engaging language.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required – full training provided. Curiosity about science and research helps. Basic writing and storytelling skills are a plus. Comfort working with editors and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work from home and communicate clearly in English.
