Description: This role involves independent, journalistic-style reporting and storytelling for a company news center. You will bring a fresh outside perspective and turn interviews and research into publish-ready stories. Work is assigned project by project and done independently. This is a great fit for a beginner who wants hands-on writing experience with full training provided.
Roles:
Produce news stories on a range of topics using a conversational, journalistic voice.
Conduct interviews with team leaders, experts and outside contacts while keeping a neutral reporter’s approach.
Generate and pitch story ideas based on current trends, public interest and noteworthy events.
Provide occasional writing and editing support for select communications projects as needed.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required; full training provided.
Basic writing and research skills.
Comfort interviewing people and turning notes into clear stories.
A curious, self-motivated approach to work.
