We are looking for a beginner-friendly Live News Segment Writer to help create clear, accurate scripts for live news programming. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided — no prior experience required.
Roles: Prepare and write segment leads, draft live scripts during breaking news, and carry out background research. You will also support senior producers with script updates and last-minute changes as stories develop.
Skills/background needed: A clear, confident writing style, curiosity about current events, and comfort working to deadlines. Full training is provided, so a willingness to learn matters more than experience. A degree in journalism or a related subject is helpful but not required.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Ongoing, with flexible remote hours.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
