Roles: Feature Writer / Blogger
We are looking for beginner-friendly writers to create blog posts and human interest stories for a nonprofit organization. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided — no prior experience is required.
What you’ll do:
Write short blog posts of roughly 300–500 words each month.
Write feature stories of roughly 500–1,000 words about volunteers, donors, and community members.
Conduct interviews by phone or in person and collect signed release forms.
Suggest supporting visuals for blog and feature stories.
Find and pitch relevant story ideas independently.
Submit completed stories to the editorial team.
Take photos or short videos with your smartphone when needed.
Skills/background needed: No experience necessary. A friendly, curious writing style and basic comfort with phone interviews are all you need. Training is provided.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, ongoing assignments.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
