Overview
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Economics Writer and Editor to join our fully remote team. This is an entry-level role with full training provided, perfect for someone eager to build writing and editing skills while covering global economic topics in a work-from-home setting.
Roles:
Write and edit clear, accurate articles on global economic developments and policy. Research and report on topics such as trade, energy, and finance. Coordinate coverage with colleagues and help prepare featured content for the website. Edit, proofread, and publish pieces while working to deadlines.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, ongoing.
Skills/background needed:
No prior professional experience required. A genuine interest in economics and current affairs is helpful. Comfort with writing, researching, and basic editing is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and basic online publishing tools is beneficial. Willingness to learn and work independently is essential.
