Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly Customs Documentation Writer to prepare and maintain import paperwork. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided, so no prior experience is required.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
What you will do:
Prepare and review import documents, checking descriptions, origin, and values for accuracy. Enter information into simple tracking systems and keep tidy, up-to-date records. Review invoices, shipping documents, and supporting paperwork. Communicate by email and phone with clients and carriers to gather details and resolve questions. Help flag delays or paperwork issues and follow them through to a fix. Support basic reporting and recordkeeping tasks.
Skills/background needed:
A high school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but we welcome applicants with any background and provide full training. Comfort with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and good attention to detail are the main things we look for. Clear written and spoken English, a willingness to learn, and reliable time management for remote work round out the list. No certification or earlier paperwork experience needed.
Location: Remote work worldwide (English speaking preferred)
