We are looking for a beginner-friendly Broadcast Writer to help create live news segments and special programmes in a fully remote setting. This is an entry-level role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is necessary.
Roles:
Write and prepare scripts for live broadcasts and special news programmes. Work closely with the wider team to keep content clear and accurate. Support the planning and timing of each segment. Review and edit copy under tight deadlines.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, remote.
Skills/background needed: Strong writing and editing skills. Comfort working to deadlines. A willingness to learn broadcast writing and newsroom processes. Spanish and English fluency is helpful. Full training is provided, so no prior experience is required.
