We’re looking for an enthusiastic Creative Writing Instructor to teach introductory and advanced creative writing courses on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to share your passion for writing with students in a fully remote environment.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and teach creative writing courses covering poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Create course materials and syllabi. Provide feedback on student writing and hold virtual office hours to support learner development. Assess student work and contribute to curriculum planning as needed.
Skills/background needed:
A master’s degree in creative writing or a closely related field is required. Prior teaching experience is desirable but not essential. You should be comfortable working with students of varying skill levels and be able to communicate constructively about creative work. Proficiency with video conferencing and basic document-sharing tools is helpful.
What to Expect:
This is a part-time remote position with teaching hours structured to fit flexible scheduling. Full training on course management and teaching approaches will be provided. You’ll work collaboratively with fellow instructors and have flexibility in how you structure your course delivery, provided core learning outcomes are met.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
