Copywriter – Arts & Culture Remote Entry Level

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Copywriter to join our team. You’ll create engaging, persuasive content that connects audiences with our mission across marketing campaigns, email, web, social media, and fundraising materials.

This is a fully remote role where you’ll work independently on copy and content projects while collaborating with marketing, design, and development teams. You’ll help shape how audiences experience our organization by developing messaging that drives attendance, builds engagement, and creates lasting connections with diverse communities.

What you’ll do:

• Write compelling copy for email campaigns, website content, social media, video scripts, and promotional materials
• Develop messaging that captures creative vision and resonates with both loyal and new audiences
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and development teams from project start to completion
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Maintain consistency and clarity in brand voice across all written materials
• Provide editing and feedback to support overall team quality

Skills/background needed:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency, in-house, nonprofit, or arts environments preferred, but not required)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling and marketing-focused copy
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
• Experience writing for diverse audiences across multiple channels
• Understanding of digital marketing principles, including email and web content best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong working relationships
• Organized and adaptable with strong time management skills
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable giving and receiving feedback
• Interest in or passion for arts and culture (a plus, but not essential)

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full-time, permanent

Location: Fully remote

Full training provided. No prior experience in arts marketing required—we’ll teach you everything you need to succeed. We’re looking for someone curious, collaborative, and eager to grow in a supportive team environment.
