We’re looking for an experienced Content Writer and Team Lead to manage a small content team and oversee website product content, copywriting, and catalogue production. You’ll work fully remote, coordinating with various departments to ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support a team of 3-4 content writers, including workload planning, prioritization, and day-to-day guidance. Oversee the creation, editing, and management of website product content and descriptions. Ensure all website and catalogue content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines. Work closely with other departments to ensure product information is complete and well-presented. Oversee the content workflow for a large annual catalogue, allocating work effectively and meeting weekly targets. Coordinate proofreading and review processes to maintain quality. Prepare weekly progress reports on team performance and deliverables.
Skills/background needed:
2+ years experience in copywriting, website content, or similar role. Proven experience managing or mentoring team members. Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience coordinating high-volume content work and meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Desirable: retail or e-commerce background, experience with website platforms, understanding of SEO, or experience managing large-scale content workflows.
