We’re looking for an enthusiastic writer and reporter to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) perfect for someone starting out in journalism or content creation.
What you’ll do:
Verify information and check sources for accuracy; write and prepare news bulletins; research stories and conduct interviews; update news content on websites and share across social media; attend press events and communicate with sources; read bulletins and present content; manage broadcasting when needed.
Skills/background needed:
Qualification in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred but not essential. You’ll need strong curiosity, excellent written and spoken English, comfort with basic computer tools including Google Suite, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driving licence is required. Full training on all systems will be provided.
