Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. Full training and a feedback template are provided. You should enjoy reading stories, have a good eye for detail, and be comfortable sharing your impressions in writing.
What you will do:
Read a short story set in a small town and give a written report on how engaging it feels, whether the characters seem believable, and any confusing sections. Note where the story slows down, whether the tone stays consistent, and any repeated phrasing. Add inline comments in Google Docs on scenes that need clarity, unnatural dialogue, timeline issues, or areas that could be stronger. Suggest possible chapter titles where they are missing.
Work format: Fully remote. Work from home or anywhere, with flexible hours.
