Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly Produce Order Writer to work from home. You will help purchase and replenish produce, monitor inventory, and keep purchase order reports accurate and up to date. Full training is provided, so no prior experience is needed.
What you will do:
Order and replenish produce following proper buying procedures. Track and act on open purchase order reports for purchases and credits. Help control waste and spoilage, and support inventory counts. Complete simple worksheets for spoilage, sampling, and temperature checks. Keep product stocked and well presented to maximize sales. Handle customer special orders and answer questions in a friendly, timely way.
Skills/background needed: A willingness to learn about products and basic math skills. Comfort using computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Effective time management and organization. A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Full training provided for beginners.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
