Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly Science Research Writer to help turn complex scientific research into clear, engaging stories for a range of audiences. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, so no prior professional writing experience is needed.
What you’ll do:
– Write and edit articles, newsletters, website content, and social media posts
– Translate scientific findings into plain, easy-to-understand language
– Help draft presentations, reports, and visual content such as infographics
– Support manuscript and grant application editing
– Work with teammates to keep projects organized and on schedule
Skills/background needed: A willingness to learn and a clear writing style are the most important things. Full training is provided. A background or interest in science, research, or communications is helpful but not required. Comfort with tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, and WordPress (basic editing) is a plus.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
