Overview
We are looking for beginner-friendly Technical Writers to help with an evaluation project. You will create realistic writing tasks, prepare source materials, and review generated outputs for accuracy, clarity, and audience fit. No prior experience with evaluation work is required — full training is provided.
Responsibilities
• Design realistic technical writing tasks using spreadsheets, PDFs, and sample documents.
• Prepare source materials such as product specs, notes, and technical references.
• Define expected solutions and output requirements.
• Create clear grading criteria covering accuracy, precision, and audience fit.
• Write documentation such as user guides and technical instructions.
• Turn complex material into clear, actionable documentation.
• Work with your team asynchronously to refine deliverables.
Skills/background needed
• Careful, precise writing and editing.
• Ability to summarize source material clearly.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Comfort adapting tone for different audiences.
• Good written English.
• Willingness to learn structured authoring and documentation basics.
• Comfort working with PDFs, spreadsheets, and CSVs.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
