We are looking for a beginner-friendly Food Safety Technical Writer to join our remote team. In this role, you will create, review, and update technical documents related to food safety standards and procedures. Full training is provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
Roles:
Create and update technical documents on food safety standards and procedures. Research and analyze information to ensure documents are accurate and follow food safety rules. Work with team members to gather information and include it in technical documents. Explain complex technical information in clear, simple language. Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in food safety regulations. Help with quality control to keep documents accurate and consistent. Support team members by sharing basic food safety knowledge. Help with internal and external audits to confirm compliance. Follow confidentiality and data protection policies. Promote food safety awareness and best practices across the organization.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with full training provided.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required. A willingness to learn technical writing and food safety basics. Good written communication skills and attention to detail. Comfort using Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and email. Ability to work from home and stay organized. Full training is provided for all core tasks.
