Business News Writer
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Business News Writer to join a team covering breaking news and trends in the business world. This is a fully remote role, and full training is provided, so no prior experience is required.
Roles:
Write clear, accurate news and feature articles about companies and industries. Keep up with business news and trends in your coverage area. Create reader-friendly headlines and page titles for your articles. Use databases, charts and financial statements to gather information. Share your work on social media to help grow an audience. Help produce video scripts or appear in videos when needed.
Skills/background needed:
A willingness to learn and a strong interest in business. Good writing and accuracy. Comfort using a computer and basic online tools. Any college background or relevant experience is welcome, but none is required.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible remote contract.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
