Role: Technical Writer
We are looking for a detail-oriented writer to create clear, accurate documentation for hardware and software products. This is a beginner-friendly, fully remote role with full training provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Responsibilities:
Write user guides, installation manuals, and online help content. Work with technical team members to gather and check information. Help create training materials in written and video formats. Keep existing documentation up to date and consistent. Support translation of documentation with outside providers.
Skills/background needed:
Strong written communication and attention to detail. Ability to explain complex ideas simply. Good organization and ability to manage several projects at once. Self-motivated and able to work independently. A degree or equivalent practical experience is a plus, but not required.
Familiarity with basic editing tools and document formats is helpful, but training is provided.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, flexible remote work with opportunities for growth.
