We are looking for a writer to create a weekly newsletter that explores a single topic readers care about in depth. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided.
Roles:
Write a weekly newsletter with a clear point of view and an engaging voice. Research your topic, develop sources, and stay ahead of trends. Write upbeat copy featuring good news, tips, or recommendations. Work closely with an editor to sharpen structure and clarity. Source and take photos to make the newsletter visually interesting. Meet consistent deadlines and maintain high editorial standards.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Ongoing weekly newsletter, flexible.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required. A confident writing voice and an interest in service journalism. Comfort getting to know new people and building relationships in a community. Familiarity with basic digital publishing tools and newsletter platforms is a plus. Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with a remote team. Any experience building an audience through a newsletter, blog, or social media is welcome.
