Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly medical documentation writer to help create, review, and update written materials such as standard procedures, forms, training content, and other department documents. Full training is provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
What you will do:
Edit and format incoming requests for new or revised documents, and help track each revision through the approval process. Suggest clear wording, content, and formatting while keeping documents accurate and easy to read. Proofread your own work and others’ work for grammar, spelling, and consistency. Help keep document history and revision records organized.
Skills/background needed: A bachelor’s degree in science, communications, or English is helpful but not required. You should be able to write clearly and concisely with strong grammar, proofread carefully, and follow a standard document format. Good listening skills and the ability to turn spoken guidance into clear written instructions matter more than experience. Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to shifting priorities is a plus.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with the potential to move into a longer-term role.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
