Role: Documentation Assistant
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Documentation Assistant to create clear, easy-to-use guides and reference materials for a technology team. This is a fully remote role, and full training is provided, so no prior experience is needed.
What you will do:
Write and edit simple procedures, how-to guides, checklists, and FAQs for mixed audiences. Build and tidy up shared pages and templates so information is easy to find. Create basic workflow diagrams and process visuals that explain who does what. Gather details through friendly conversations with team members and confirm accuracy with them. Keep wording, formatting, and versions consistent across all materials.
Skills/background needed:
Comfort writing clear, organized instructions. Willingness to learn documentation and diagramming tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and similar platforms. Good attention to detail and a knack for asking helpful questions. Basic familiarity with shared online workspaces is a plus, but training covers everything.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Ongoing project with the potential to move into a longer-term role.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
