Roles: We are looking for a remote Technical Author to research, write, and edit technical content for equipment maintenance and operations manuals. This is an entry-level role and full training is provided, so no prior experience is required.
What you will do:
Research, write, and edit technical content for maintenance and operations manuals. Follow style guides and formatting standards to keep documents consistent. Review content for clarity and accuracy before release. Update publications based on feedback and equipment changes. Keep documentation schedules on track and use publishing tools to prepare electronic and printed manuals.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience necessary – we provide full training. A willingness to learn technical writing basics and follow clear instructions is all you need to start. Familiarity with everyday tools such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs is helpful. Attention to detail and a careful approach to accuracy are a plus.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
