Roles: We are looking for beginner-friendly creative writing instructors to lead workshop-style writing courses online. You will guide students through fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and personal essay writing, offering feedback and helping learners develop their voice.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, ongoing teaching opportunities.
Skills/background needed: A master’s degree in creative writing, English, or journalism is preferred, along with some experience teaching writing. Published fiction or nonfiction writing is a plus. Full training is provided, so candidates with limited teaching experience are welcome to apply.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
This is a fully remote role. You can work from home or anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Classes are delivered online through video calls and a learning platform. The role involves leading workshops, reviewing student writing, and providing encouraging feedback. Familiarity with basic online teaching tools is helpful but not required, as training is provided.
