Roles: We are looking for freelance science writers to turn complex scientific, medical, and public health information into clear, accessible materials for a range of audiences.

Skills/background needed:
No prior experience is required, and full training and support are provided. A background or interest in science, health, or writing is helpful. You should be comfortable reading technical information and explaining it in plain language, and able to meet short deadlines while keeping your work accurate. Good communication skills and basic familiarity with everyday tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom are useful.
Your work may include drafting and editing reports, summaries, fact sheets, newsletters, website content, and presentation materials. You may also take notes at scientific meetings, support editorial review, and help keep document libraries and tracking systems organised.
This is a fully remote role, so you can work from home or from anywhere. Please include the number of hours you are available each week when you get in touch.
