Help college students develop strong writing skills through one-on-one online tutoring. In this fully remote role, you’ll provide personalized guidance on essays, research papers, and writing assignments, helping students build confidence and improve their academic writing.
What you’ll do:
Conduct individual online tutoring sessions focused on college-level writing
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals and needs
Provide constructive feedback on writing drafts to help students improve clarity and grammar
Support students in research skills and citation standards
Track student progress and adjust your teaching approach as needed
Work with diverse learners, including English language learners
Skills/background needed:
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Teaching or tutoring experience (preferred, but willingness to learn is valued)
Strong writing and communication skills
Comfort using online learning platforms
Ability to adapt your teaching style to different learners
Patience and enthusiasm for helping students succeed
